Purpose
To better integrate Australia’s health and homelessness systems to reduce health inequities in Australia that contribute to people experiencing homelessness having higher rates of chronic disease and illness and premature mortality.
What to expect
The Australian Alliance to End Homelessness coordinates the Australian Health, Housing and Homelessness Network (A3HN), a thriving network of national professionals committed to a health-informed end to homelessness. Together, the network strategically improves access to primary health care for people who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness by building capacity and enhancing collaboration between sectors. We bring together experts, researchers, practitioners and people with lived experience of the three sectors to support each other’s efforts to end homelessness.
The Network meets online quarterly, and every member has the chance to access the group online to share opportunities, resources and knowledge as well as seek advice and guidance.
Membership and meetings are free to attend and held online via Teams.
A national in-person forum occurs annually.
